My Newest Love-- MODCLOTH

I'm one of those women who can't shop in physical stores. I glance over a few racks and can decide in an instant whether I want to investigate or not. Most of the time I blow through stores and might pick out one thing I like.

This is a habit I've gotten due to my height and broad shoulders. It sucks when you decide you really like something, but it's way too short. I narrow my shopping to places I know will have things in my size or I can tweak it into an outfit.

Recently (and I honestly don't know how it happened) I found ModCloth.com. I'm not a vintage style kind of lady, but there are some indie brands they carry that can be my sleek style.

My first purchase was two pairs of tights and some high waist underwear for dresses etc. I was so pleasantly surprised that the tights were plenty long that I hopped back on and made another purchase that day. Shortly after, my package arrived with my new dress and coat. I was in love instantly! Even though the waist of the dress is a little high on me, it still looks fantastic. The coat is warm and comfy and stylish.
So, being naughty, I went back and ordered again! I got a different color of my first dress, a new style of dress, and a cardigan that looked too cozy to pass up. While I've been waiting, I got on their "Be the Buyer" section and went nuts.

BtB is probably one of the more innovative things I've seen in e-shopping lately. It's like a fashion show for the buyers, where we get to vote if we would buy a style or skip it, along with feedback on each piece. I love it! It's got to be a great thing for ModCloth, because they can see how many people like items, what they like/don't like etc. It also makes me feel like a fashion professional (hah!!) and I really like reading what other people say about the clothing.

I'm half tempted to apply to the SanFran branch of ModCloth. The clothing is almost all under 100$ but the amount of things I want there still racks up the $$ and I bet they have an epic employee discount xD

They also have cool tech items, like usb hand warmers for when you are typing on a cold morning, and a toaster usb port.
